Cam sensor problems

Hi everyone, recently changed my crank and cam sensors but the ses, vdc and slip came back after 4 days..the computer check showed a problem with the cam sensors..changed them both again OEM but after 1 day the lights are back on..Still shows the code for the cam sensor..So it's not the sensor..What else could it be? The wires..Someone said it could be the cam sprockets(What are they BTW) Anyone who has had this problem or knows what it could be.Please let me know...thanx everyone..That's why this site is the BEST..Cheers

No clue what else can cause the CEL to come again. The sprocket usually mean the internal gear that the sensor is reading/sensing off, but can go wrong in there? What condition was the original one? Post up and share your findings when yo fix yours

I just had both the cam and cranked replaced by my mechanic and have been working fine 400 miles later. Are you doing the repair your self? Also my guy said sometimes it could be the wire that trips cam crank sensor might want to check those

Which wire to check? Should i check my audio wire too coz one got loosed and did mess up my amp then the cel came on

i would check the oil pressure it should 15psi.
