Broken Rear Window - Experience?

So a couple of weeks ago, I took my wife and her family into SF on a Friday afternoon for some touristy things. Parked in an underground garage and came back to it a few hours later with a broken rear window (and a few things stolen from inside).
Dealing with Geico has been a PITA. I'm now up the sh*t creek without paddle, paying $1300 to the dealer to fix it ($1100 window, $200 labor which was sublet and not upcharged) and Geico is only paying me about $550 ($120 labor which they claim is avg rate and book time, and "$430 for the window which is the price we could have bought an aftermarket window for."). I actually thought I was doing the right thing by going to the dealer (getting a free loaner instead of a reimbursed rental, thought all glass was the same, dealer was on Geico's list of approved shops, etc.). Lesson learned. Maybe I would have been more diligent in the process had our family not been in town, but I wanted to get the car into a shop ASAP and get a car for us to resume our hosting.
So my questions are - have any of you had to replace the rear window? If so, how much did you pay? If aftermarket, how did the glass compare? Anybody have a similar insurance claim experience with any tips?

Same situation - got mine done at Safelite, which was Geico's preferred provider in the area. Remember it costing around $800 (had a $1000 deductible so it was all out of pocket). Looks like the stock window. Might be from Infiniti for all I know. Has been trouble free.

Interesting! Can you by any chance dig up those details? They told me that Safelite would have cost only $550 or so ($120 labor and $430ish for glass) so that's all they will reimburse. Wonder how it got to $800 for you. Thanks
