Brake light in mornings

Hey guys,

Chicago has gotten COLD. Every morning I start my car and come out, my brake light is on and it looks like traction control or some sort? It shuts off after 1-2 minutes of driving.

Any idea?? It's a 2012, should I take it in?

Also, the yellow symbol that looks like traction control, will only shut off after the brake light goes off and I restart the car. Will not go off without a shut off and restart.

Is your brake fluid up to or near the maximum level mark in your master cylinder. The sensors are really sensitive in our rides.

Did you ever figure out what the reason for this was? My 2012 does the same thing when it gets cold in Chicago lol.

It's just the fluid level, like GEE50FX said. Same thing on the G and Z. Make sure fluid level is at the max line (or in some cases, people actually suggest to go past the max line in the Z).

It's a common case in the 370z community. In my Z, the dash will light up like a xmas tree once in a while after hard acceleration and cornering, car will cut fuel. It's caused by temporarily low brake fluid. Fill it to max, and light goes away.
