I have 2005 fx45. Just bought the car 5 months ago. How much have you guys paid for a brake flush? Is this necessary? My brake fluids seems dark looking in the reservoir. My rear right calipers lock once in a while. thanks!

Ur caliper shouldn't have much to do with fluid. It could but chances have been slim. Maybe you should lube the sliding pins.

Brake fluid is recommended every two years. However many cars I've service have super black fluid in there and never had issues. Most likely original fluid on 15+ year old cars.

Cost of this service can be about $8 for fluid and a helper to step on the pedal. After all four wheels are removed it should take about 30-50 minutes. $89-149 at dealerships or local shops.

Choice is yours. I recommend it even tho you might not need it just yet. In the very worst case the brake line can freeze, never seen it actually happen.
