Bose OEM CD Player - Misssing song data

When I put a disc in that I bought for the local store it will not show the album title or track titles. When I burn a CD it will show the song title, is this normal. Will it also play a disc of MP 3's?

I have a 05 FX 35.

This is normal - CD store bought do not contain the title/track info on the cd. If you notice that when you put it in a laptop/pc it will ask if you want to look it up. When you burn it, it will burn the info onto the burnt cd. On a 2005 it wont play MP3's that only became available on the 06+
