Are the threads on the oil filter housing "standard"? I am changing the oil in my wifes 05 fx35 and the bosch 3330 filter I bought won't accept the threads on the filter housing.
The threads on the filter look good, the threads on the filter housing look good. The filter will catch on the housing thread, but will not screw on.
On my way to try another brand name filter. Just curious - perhaps I got a flawed filter.
