I wonder if we can rewire our pre 06 "joystck" so we can add another control near the cup holders? I would think it can be wired up to be similar to the BMW's idrive.
wheres the butcher? I need 10 pounds of ground beef! (turbocad)!!

it's so much better with buttons & a knob than just a single multi function knob, I like the mercedes interface better than the i drive up till now because of the buttons with a haptic knob

I got a few things I want to do for controls in my console, but to the pc, not the stock system. I'd really like to eliminate the shifter being there all togeather & switch over to electric shift too

i'm sure you could duplicate some of the center controls in a knob type setup, but your talking crazy fabrication to not have it look home made
