Hey there,
New FX owner (2007), just got it earlier this week. I love it so far, but my only issue is that i dont have a way to hook my phone up. It has the bose stereo, but no aux input in the center console like my 05 g35x had.
Ive called and looked online a bit. Seems like the only way to work around is with a USA Spec Ipod interface. It plugs into the CD changer input and provides you with a ipod dock and an aux input. It also allows some control of your ipod via stereo controls.
I think it would work fine, but i would rather have a bluetooth connection for my phone.
Short of buying a new aftermarket stereo (does anyone have any they really enjoy that still operate the factory controls?) what options do I have? And how easy is it to pull off the front console?

BTW...anyone else from Alaska?? Not a lot of Infiniti owners up here...just got a dealer last year.
 
Thanks for the reply...looks like a sweet (although expensive) setup. I dont have Sat OR Nav, but I do have the CAT button so Im assuming it would work for me.
Couple other noob questions:
Without having NAV can i still use my screen to play media, or do the non-nav screens not have the capability? Also, wondering if any other posts on here have a decent walkthrough of how to remove the console/stereo. And What manuals do you guys recommend for DIY projects? Always been happy with my Chiltons for me GMC products, but not sure about imports.
