Hey guys, I have been using the block heater for the first time since I bought my new 2012 FX35.
What I'm wondering is...how do you know its working? And how long does it take for it to warm up the block?
I have been using a digital timer to run it early morning rather than all night and so far I had it running for an hour then two hours and I don't see a difference in terms of warm up time or anything...
Does anyone know if there's something more to it than just plugging it in?
If I left it on all night, would I see my needle sitting higher once I turn on the engine?
