Hey guys, I'm hoping some of you can share your great experiences with Infiniti dealerships here in the GTA. I have a 2012 FX35 that I would like to get a few things looked at but the dealership I went to today (401 Dixie), the service people treated me poorly.

I need a place where a tech can come out and just look at an issue and tell me right off the bat whether its warranty or normal wear and tear. I don't need to sign a piece of paper guaranteeing them labour charges. I know the stuff I need done is warranty related but I have heard enough horror stories of people having to pay out the nose for something that was later confirmed as a warranty claim. I don't need any drama just straight up answers by the book.

Hopefully you guys can help a fellow member out!

Thanks guys, I'm going to check with all of them and see what they say. Isn't woodchester the same owner as oakville?

I need a dealership where they can have a mechanic talk to me and just give me a straight up answer, not a service person telling me to sign a piece of paper that guarantees them a labour charge regardless if they give me the right or wrong answer.

I'm going to guess that even for the folks who have 2009 to 2011 FX's, that they still have issues with the transmission even after the latest update. The 1st gen never had a problem, now I'm regretting my 2nd gen purchase because of this...

Anyone know how to clear the ECU on a 2nd gen? I know how to do it on the 1st and it always resolved any weird issues like this...

I have not been to Guelph Infiniti since it changed hands.
I went there today just to check them out since I was always very happy with their service.

I went to the Lube Express for a quick oil change and was told it would only be 30 minutes. Well 30 minutes passed and my car was still parked. They finally got it in and did the service. The service advisor was very apologetic about it taking so long. Then I got a pleasant surprise, they did the service at no charge. I got the labor, 7 liters of Mobil 1 synthetic oil, a drain gasket and OEM filter free of charge. WOW, I was impressed.
So they still treat their customers very well. Props to Guelph Infiniti.

That's awesome, I guess they must be hurting in terms of reputation from the previous owner. I'm not sure why its so hard to be an awesome dealership but from speaking to a great friend of mien that works on the inside, he said that there's a lot of BS that just creates disgruntled employees and in turn everyone loses including the customer.

I took my car to Dixie Infiniti to get them to look at a few things. First my front left spring had the plastic protector peeling off. I told them that the plastic protector is glued on and they have to glue it back or replace the spring. They said there's no glue...I took quite offence to that because i know what glue looks like and its clearly there. The second item was my transmission acting funny as many members on here have posted. They said the mechanic took it for a test drive but the car never left the garage. The third item was the inside lip of the stock 20" rims were missing paint as if there was a defect from the factory. I could see the 2013 in the showroom did not have this problem and it was the same exact rims. In the end, I felt like a pile of sh*t because Infiniti once again failed to take care of their customer.

But to be honest, the problem is not with the brand, the problem is with the morons who work inside. The odd case you get someone who has passion in his industry and actually knows what he's talking about. All I see these days is a bunch of retards who act like their big but when I begin to talk about the specs of any one of their cars in the showroom, they have absolutely no clue and this is not only the sales guy, its the mechanic, the service advisor and the manager. I wish Infiniti all the luck it needs, because it may end up hurting big in the near future as other brands like Toyota eat up their business..
