Best 18" Tire?

Well, I guess I'm not going to be getting the 24's on my 2nd gen.. Decided to get a new apartment & a 55" 3D LED LCD instead...lol

I do need to buy new tires for my 18" stockers though. I drive very fast, and want a more aggressive looking tire on there. I would also like to get a wider tire then the stock tires as well..

What's the widest tire I can put on it, and what's the best tire in your guys opinion? I don't want to lose ride quality, but I do want the best performance that I can get..

What's the best of the best you guys, and what size can I get away putting on the stock 18" in wheels that I have.. I live in SoCal so I'm not ever going to be driving in the snow..

Appreciate the advice you guys!
 
Should be an 18x8 wheel, fyi. The width of the rim will affect what tire you can fit.
 
Do you want to keep stock diameter, or would you consider going to a smaller sidewall? Maybe other sizes would have more, and better, options.
 
I just want my stock tires to look better... lol Anything that will give it a more aggressive wider look I think would be sweet you know?!

Can someone confirm that a 275/55 18 will fits a 2009 FX 35?

I am looking for a meaner looking tire. A bit wider should looks great.

Any other advice on options for an 18 inch tire?
