Bedding new brake pads?

After putting new pads...do you bed them or do they normally bed themselves? Is this necessary or would normal driving without hard braking be enough? They are OE pads not high performances. Thanks!

There are tons of articles via google that will help you out. The skinny is that you do need to bed new brakes. Just do it safely

i would bed them regardless of oe or aftmket

i just did mine over the weekend and took them on a low speed run around the block without stopping completely so the rotors don't cool off completely and then little by little went faster n faster.. the key is to make sure you don't stop completely so the rotors cool off.. that could lead them to warp

also after u bed, let your car cool of gor 20 mins, before driving again
