Battery problems

I need some advice. Car wont start here are what could've led to this:
1. Only used the car about a total of 1 hr driving in the past week.
2. Used it to Home Depot and stored lumber for a house project (bar)
3. Been sitting in 105 degree heat.
4. Car has 50k miles

I've checked to see if anything was left on but nothing. Just wanting to see if I might have triggered something or if there is a secret light that got swithched on?
I did jump it 5 hrs ago and started with no problems. The voltage dead was 12.31 and when started at idle it was 14.05 tried to restart now and it just clicks.

What kind of battery do you have and how old is it? I've seen batteries show close-to-normal voltage readings on a meter while lacking the amperage to actually crank the engine. Do your headlights come on normally? When you say "click", is it one click or a series of clicks when you turn the key?

Its a series of clicks. Its an 05 fx45 and I just saw that the average life of this battery is 3.5 yrs. Its still the original.
Thanks fellas, going to sears and get the gold tomorrow.
