Recently i have noticed a problem with my car's ipod interface, so basically it skips the first 2 seconds of the song when start playing, and this tent to happen when i change track (by press down the next track key on steering wheel or the skip track button on center console), the funny thing here is if this 2 second delay happens, and i were to rewind the song to replay it, it would magically starts playing from the beginning 0.00. and it seems to play fine if i manually select songs from the list, no delay, plays all the way from beginning, I tried with different ipod touch, different cables, latest firmware, earlier firmware, but still no luck. I remember my car had this problem before, but i could always fix it by playing around with the RPT button. Today i found the car's speed sensitive volume isn't working anymore, i set it to the max, and drove on high way, didn't hear any difference.....:bomb: and more comes, when i drove the car to the garage, i found turning on and off the audio system, changing track or changing radio station would cause a quite and short popping sound, can't really tell if its from the head unit or the speakers.....
* My car was at a body shop last month because someone rear ended my cars driver side, not serious damage, just some really slight dent. The only thing i could think of is the body shop messed up the wiring in door panels, or head unit grounding, but they kept telling me they didnt touch the car's center console, none of the cable is damaged and they are all at where they should be. Any suggestions? I will try get those guys to open up my door panel some day next week, could anyone tell me what to look for? Thanks~
