ash tray removal

Does anyone know if we can remove the ash tray without having to cut/break it off? I have a 2004 and I'm thinking of putting my satellite radio display unit there.

If you remove the ashtray, you need to figure out a way to re-install the hazard light switch as it mounting bracket is on the ashtray as on unit. You have to remove the console to access the mounting screws on the back to take the ashtray off.

bah, who needs a hazard light switch when I get a good place to mount my radio anyways... (\sarcasm)
