ARK or Invidia exhaust....quick question re: drone

I want to get a performance exhaust and really want the ARK but the price is out of my range. so plan B is the invidia. both sound great and both look mean but my concern is cabin drone. I was wondering those who have both, how bad or not bad is the drone? at highways speeds?

I've had muscle and sports cars with exhaust but never my DD. now with a child on board I want to get something that has less drone.

please share your experience and if you did anything to minimize the drone without losing performance. thanks!! :good:
 
I was gonna throw in my 2cents but i think im so use tot he ark i dont hear the drone anymore or theres not a lot lol. But i know cruising at around 60mph you can hear it but its really subtle.
 
I personally haven't had the ARK but I have been in the car. The drone was tolerable. This was back a few years ago when I was more into the loud exhaust note. Not sure if I would like it now but I do have the Invidia now that I got from Gordon. I do love it. The drone is not bad at all. Both my parents have sat in the car for about an hour or so rides and didn't mind it at all. (Their middle eastern and very particular lol)
Although, my neighbor still does complain if I floor it out of the drive way :)
 
I heard the Ark and the Invidia in person before I picked which one I liked and that was the Ark. The Invidia is loud and does drone a lot compared to the Ark. At highway speeds the ark is quiet. The exhaust note on the Ark is more throaty just like a g37 and the Invidia is more deep. IMO the Ark wins hands down.
 
great replies guys.. thanks! the ark is almost a grand more than the invidia and sounds like it worth it since I want to minimize the cabin drone. do they offer IS discounts? Has anyone installed a resonator with an invidia system?
 
Well RIP is deff knows a ton more then me haha. I got my Invidia from Gordon. Best price I've ever seen. Contact him for the best price for sure. I haven't done a resonator personally.

Don't know about discount but call Ark and ask for Lerry and tell him your an infinitiscene member and he will hook it up. Everyone on here has bought directly from him. If you want the Invidia def call and ask for Gordon. Both are awesome dudes

based on the hours of you tube videos on both exhausts and searching threads on multiple forums, I'm going to go for the ARK. I just need to save up a little more though. thanks for the input gents. once I get it I'll post pics

Nice choice! I would go ARK as well if I bought right now (I have invidia) both awesome products and you would have loved both I'm sure.

Well luckily for you Ark don't make an exhaust for the 1st gen.
