Apexi Air Filter

Without changing the filter style or airbox, what gain are you expecting with this filter? I wouldn't think you would notice much of anything.

from reading on here, 350z and g35 forums, stock airbox is built very well. stillen airbox is pretty much the same but modified to put in a cone filter but uses the same air intake locations.

Is there one for the 2nd gen too? I'm always worried about this MAF issue. Some people it's happening too and some aren't having problems, it's weird

I personally had bad experience with oiled filters specially K&N. So i really want to give a try to the dry ones. Im not sure if the 1st gen will fit on 2nd gen tho. Maybe somebody else can clear this up

just to clear things up, since the factory filter are paper with some oil in it putting a drop in Apexi dry filter will kill the maf overtime cuz of not being oiled?? Lol is so confusing

No, you don't want oil on the MAF sensor. Dry filter is a good thing! The oil meant to trap more dust particles. A high quality dry filter will do a better job.
