Anyone installed flowmaster muffler?

Looking to get rid of my stock muffler and add flow master . Anyone here done that ? I am concerned for the drone . wanted to see what you guys think.

Not a bad sound, a bit hollow/throaty, slightly Detroit style. You will be fine re: drone if you leave the resonators in place. Remove the resonators, its game over.

what else can put to get a better sound. all the youtube videos are showing flowmaster . I don't want a muscle car sound I want more of a euro sound.

If you want to maintain some of the factory sound/tone, get something like a Nismo, maybe HKS. All of the other aftermarket options change the tone quite a bit. Maybe Invidia, it's deeper, but not quite Flowmaster.

ill check them out . I was worried about the drone but I guess ill have to keep the resonator . ill update photos when I figure it out.

I just got my flowmast muffler, and plan to get it installed this weekend. Even though I have scoured this forum over and over, and feel confident the 80 series is the way to go.....a simple swap out still seems to concern me. Is the install of the muffler just that simple?

Also, one of the muffler shop guys mentions the Flowmaster possible messing with the O2 sensors....any thoughts on that?
{Flowmaster 80 series Single in/Dual out 2.5"}

Muffler shop guy has no idea what he's talking about. Muffler is after O2 sensors so no impact. Only thing that would impact O2 sensors is if you remove a cat or something like that.

You were definitely right with that. The shop that I actually took it to gave me that clarification. It sounds great, and the droning on the highway is barely noticeable to me. Might be because I listen to music louder when I am on the highway.

Also, it was not just a simple swap in and out of mufflers. On my '04 at least. The Flowmaster was considerably smaller, so they had to add piping in order for the tailpipes to be in the same spot. I made the guys show me while it was on the lift, to make sure he was right before I paid the extra money.
