I'm curious to see who in the nj/ny area would be able to remove painted on pinstripe and how much would it cost. I bought the car used from the dealer like that and I hate it lol

was going to delete originally but didn't because I sure am not his only option. someone may chime in with another good resource that is more close to home for him. pinstripe removal isn't rocket science, but he did contact me already and I may be looking at it next week for him anyway... still figured leave this thread incase he gets another good recommendation though, don't want to seem biased or anything :tongue (2):

Lol I did post both roughly at the same time, mainly to keep my options open, I did however contact John and am gonna go with him.. I'm fairly new to the forum and figure that if turbo didn't reply back from 'his corner' that someone else may on the exterior part of the forum

Why are there two threads for same topic?

Not to take away business from Turbocad, but try 3M eraser wheel. I've used it and its amazing. I used it to take off the adhesive mounting tape on our moldings. No chemicals, you can do a huge job in minutes. I spent two hours one day removing six inches of adhesive with my hands and the entire car took 15 minutes with the eraser wheel. It costs about $40 and all you use is a cordless screwdriver.

Coulda deleted the thread and locked in a customer.... ;)

ha, that's funny man but not the way I do things, really don't like using the forum to promote or push my business here at all. I mean of course through casual communications some here do realize that I own a shop and I do my best to serve those who do contact me about work but I'm really not here to promote that at all. your not going to find a thread for my shop and before/after shots of all the work I do and other promo type stuff, just feels like a conflict of interest to me and that's really not what I'm here for...
