Anyone here installed a carbon fiber dash kit for our FX?

I installed a dash kit on my Gen 1...but it was a gloss black dash kit. But I think the Gen 2's interiors are so nice you don't need it.
I feel like carbon fiber takes away from the luxury feel of it...but good luck if you go with this. Just be real careful installing because you
want to make sure you stick correctly...use masking tape to line up and peel off a corner and stick like a bandaid.
 
That's what I was thinking too. I think the stock piano black looks luxurious. But in the end it all depends on what look you go for. It's either luxury or sport.
 
Yeah that's why I did the piano black because I wanted it to look more like the 2nd Gen and it came out really nice actually. Anyone
who sees it thinks it's stock.
 
I agree with everyone as well, the stock black piano trim looks real nice and classy and fits the look perfectly. Carbon fiber will not flow right IMO.
 
Done. You guys talked me out of it. Now what am I supposed to do with the $200 you guys just saved me? Hmmm.... I love this forum.

Perhaps you can get the shark fin antenne for the top rear of the FX. Its under $100 and would look nice on the ride :) ??

Take the $200, go to Pep Boys, and buy one of every chrome stickum doo-dad. No, wait. That might be a bad idea. Never mind.
 
I understand that the center piano finish looks great but what options are there for the gear lever surround and door trims?
