Any write-up for installing kinetix v+ plenum?

Hey pros, I've just purchased an used kinetix v+ plenum, but it only comes with the plenum itself (no washers, spacers for the strut bar, bolts or anything that come with the package). I'm just wondering if anyone out there can guide me to install it. I try to look up the instruction online, but it states that I need washers, spacers for strut bar, threat lock, blah blah blah... So, I'm kinda lost right now. Should I order a hardware package form kinetix? Or the instruction just tries to make it complicated to have people buying their package? Or I can basically use whatever I have to install it? Please help me out!!! Thanks!!!

You don't need spacers. It is not a Z.

Just look up Motordyne's plenum instructions to see the correct order and torque specs for the outer bolts. I assume they can be reused.

Good, I didn't know if the plenum was thicker and needed longer bolts. Should be an easy install then. Even easier since I think it has less bolts in the middle.

Oh, I thought you meant "reuse" as opposed to one time use bolts. I don't know whether that kinetix plenum has a thicker flange...

LI have the gtspec one.

But sounds like we don't need any spacers for our fx. Am I correct?

So nothing I need to buy then?

Measure the thickness of the mounting flange (where the bolts go through). If its thicker than the oem plenum flange then you may need the hardware kit. If not, you can reuse the oem bolts.

You may need the hardware package. Doesn't the plenum sit higher than OEM? It's been a while, but I know the Powerlab plenum spacer I installed had longer bolts because of the added height. If this plenum sits higher, then you may need longer bolts.

I have the gt spec bar..no problems. You need the hardware package because u not only need the little silicone tube they give u, but u also need I beloved four or six little black Allen screws that u put in the lower plenum to close the wholes. You will know what I'm talking about when u take off the oem plenum lol and u also need the little L shaped connector that connects two hoses together. You need the instruction booklet to help u out too. It shows u step by step how to uninstall the original plenum and step by step how install the kinetix one. Good luck.

All you need is to order a parts kit on their website. Bad thing is that its about $42 shipped, lol. It will clear just fine with the GTSPEC bar. And get a tube of gasket sealer from the auto parts store. I am one of the few that used to have this plenum.
