Any possible longevity issues, driving in DS mostly?

Anyone know of any downsides to driving the FX50 in DS most of the time? I find the transmission is much more tolerable in DS, and it also means I usually have instant power.

Just don't want to use it too often, if the transmission is going to suffer.

Even in DS mode, the automatic transmission is still governed by the same rules as in normal mode. The one drawback I could think of is in DS mode, you're forcing the transmission to shift outside of the "most" optimal shift points for power and fuel savings. As a result, your fuel economy might suffer.

Ok, that's about what I figured, considering it holds gears longer, keeping the engine in a higher rpm range. Fuel mileage isn't a concern, so that's good to know.
