so i hit a bump and somehow some of the change in the holder on the dash made its way behind the track... so it only opens a little bit and i have to force it to open all the way is there a quick and easy way to get the assembly removed so i can free the change that's stuck behind it ..? any help would be greatly appreciated! diy* or a how to step would be perfect.

thanks, Chris

My bad andy i was soo busy the week i came accross it that it totally flew off my mind!! Until i saw this post it refreshed my memory!

Yeah, it's pretty easy to remove the center console area. A trim removal tool is highly recommended. You can get a set of 5 pieces for like 5 bucks.

For the console you don't need any trim tools as it pops right out. Remove the shifter clip, pop out the rubber trim by the console opening, and voila. The rest lifts right out.

Perfect just what i needed thanks very much!

i searched online while at work either my office blocks images or most of the pages i found explaining it had no photos which as you know tend to help the process a little better than figuring out what they are referring to haha. anyway got it done in 5 minutes... damn change holder PIA! :) that and i wanted to know the clip locations so i didnt break anytabs.. better off asking than being a kid breaking nice car parts to pieces or scratching the polished pieces up..
