I'm not an owner, but I've always liked the FX, and tend to browse the classifieds occasionally. A few days ago I actually took an FX30d for a test-drive, and engine aside I did like it. While it felt rather large and heavy, the handling was surprisingly confidence-inspiring. On the downside, the interior didn't feel as special in person as I had expected. Another thing that surprised me about the FX was the trunk. It had a weird rigid parcel shelf kind of arrangement, which essentially made the usable trunk space rather low. I'm sure it is removable, but what's up with that instead of a retractable curtain as many other cars have?
I thought I'd make an account already, as not only does it enable me to open post attachments, but I may very well at some point switch to an FX, for it is pretty much the only SUV/crossover that works for me styling-wise. I may have a thing for long bonnets and side vents...
