Hi,

I currently have a Nissan 370z but due to health reasons i need something a little higher off the ground. I have seen a 2010 FX37 s limited edition and was thinking of going for it. What does the limited edition have over the standard car and is there anything that i should look out for?

FX37 is available 2012+

2010 would be either FX35 or FX50.

For the limited edition, I believe it's only black trim pieces which is only exterior aesthetics. Gloss black 21" wheels, gloss black roof rails/fender vents/rear hatch trims

The previous owner probably rebadged it as FX37s. But it wasn't available until 2012. Be careful.

Do you have a link to the car? (cars.com, autotrader.com or wherever). I want to verify it as well

I'll have a look as I don't think the car has been prepped yet and it was just by chance that I noticed it there.

You are from London England and they did have the FX37S over there in 2010.
Welcome to the site mate. Don't see to many FX's over there, by the way my daughter lives in Cambridge.

Thanks, i'm not too far from Cambridge, probably about 50 miles or so.
You don't see many which is a good thing as they are not common and you don't end up having the same as everybody else. The mayor of London is talking tough about diesel cars over here and is bringing into effect a low emission zone in London. I like to keep my cars for a while so that's why i'm looking for a petrol model.
It's probably only a matter of time before he gets round to a tax for the FX37 as it's not the most ecco friendly vehicle out there. Problem is that he's not telling people the long term plan and i need a car ASAP so i'm probably going to go for it and keep my fingers crossed.

Is there anything to look out for when buying one of these?

They are pretty reliable cars, there was a TSB out to reflash your ecu to cure harsh shifting on some transmissions in 09 but other than that all is good. You can search that out here.

Brilliant. I might pop back up there again tomorrow to take another look and find out a bit more about the car.
