Im having an allignment issue with my car. Whenever im on the freeway the steering wheel shakes a lot. Also, on the edge of my tires all the tread is practically gone. I went to Midas and another local place but neither of them could do it because of the Eibach's and the 22's. Does anyone know somewhere local where I can get it fixed? Thanks

Try discount tire, as long as you don't have spacers they should be able to do the alignment.

I had mine done at Sears and they did not give me any problems about the springs or rims.

I think I did mine at JustTires. I had both 22's and Eibachs. I know they cannot correct the camber with the OEM bolts. But I know Eibachs makes a Alignment Kit for under $30.

Just tires is the other place I went to. The guy was thinking and then said he couldn't do it.

give Flips in Van Nuys a call. They specialize in wheels. They'll do it.

I guess the problem is that some of the newer machines use the specifications based on the make and model of the car. Since using the Eiback and 22's change these specs, they are afraid that the settings will not match that of the factory settings.

1) Eibach makes has an alignment kit for the front -- google or ebay for them.

2) That being said, front are typically in OEM Specs even with Eibach or H&R's. Rear is typically the problem and there is no Rear Kit unless you contact Rookie and see if he can get you a set made.

3) Go to Nissan/Infiniti and get this done. I go to Infiniti because it's cheaper, but only if you can wait. Infiniti you get a free loaner. Nissan just did mine. Balanced all 4 wheels, spun up to 80 mph (fastest their machine goes) to double zero (basically "perfect" balancing). Also, they did an alignment. I should have asked for a print out but they said they got it in spec for the front and the rears were just inside the range as well.

$20/wheel to balance, $179.99 alignment. This all took them 3-4 hours so worth it as they did a good job. I get my wheels rotated every 6,000 miles to be on the safe side of tire wear. No shake or shimmy on my steering wheel. For stuff like this I go to the dealer, as if something is "wrong" they keep working on it until they fix it. Midas would say we tried and here's your car back.

I forgot the name of the shop, but there is a tire shop within the cerritos mall parking lot that does alignment for 22s. They have one of those automatic alignment machines.

I wish I can remember the name. It's the only tire place in the shopping mall other than Sears.
