Airbag light blinking after seat removal

So as I posted the other day, I left my sunroof open overnight a few days ago and rain soaked a good portion of my interior. In particular the seats and the carpet beneath them. Thus, I've spent several hours in the last two days gutting my interior in order to dry everything by hand. Well, I finished it up an hour or so ago and when I started it up to go for a test drive (I also installed more sound insulation under the carpet between the front and rear seats) I noticed my airbag light is now blinking. Ugh.
I am positive that everything is reconnected properly under the seat, but not 100% sure about the connection at the side airbag in the seats. I may have bumped one or both during the dis-assembly. I also turned the ignition on after I reinstalled the front seat (while the passenger seat was removed) in order to close the window.
Is it possible that turning the ignition on while the airbag was disconnected caused the light to come on? If so is there a way to reset the light? If not I guess I'll try to take them apart again and see about the internal airbag connection.
Thanks in advance.

Here are some pics of the scene under the front seats. Quite a bit more complex than I was expecting...

Under the passenger seat, taken from the rear passenger door. Pre-insulation:

Same position, aimed a little higher. Pre-insulation:

I put some insulation on the portions of the pillars that sounded like a drum when I smacked them... Not sure if it will have any effect but I was already in there...

FYI, the yellow connector in that last pic is the airbag connection.

Yes, turning the ignition on with the airbag unplugged will give you the light. If that was the only cause for the light than it will eventually turn off. Same thing happened to me when I installed my paddle shifters.

If you get tired of waiting, you could always reset it

1. Turn ignition switch from OFF to ON.
2. Within 1 second after air bag warning lamp is on for 7 seconds and turns off, turn off ignition switch.
3. After ignition switch is turned off, wait for more than 3 seconds.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times (3 OFF to ON sequences in total)
5. Turn ignition switch to ON.
6. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait for more than 1 second then turn it back ON.

I did that last week after my airbag light came on when we were doing some interior work. It took about 4 tries to get it right, but it worked like a charm.

Thanks Shadow. This worked great. This is the third time I have come to this site for FX problems. I have always found a solution to my problem so I decided to send out a big thanks to everyone!
