Hi Guys I'm looking for a good intake system. I found this one, this is the same one Dr have on his fx

Weapon-R Secret Weapon 3.5 INCH VERSION

They have the wrong picture. That picture is of the FX45 intake kit. Call them to make sure they send out the correct version for you when you order.

so, i know i will make people upset for asking this one, but is the general consensus in terms of the absolute BEST intake. HP gain and sound, ha! Ultimately, i think i'm far more concerned with the sound, ha!

weapon r makes some nice intakes
but for me if i need to buy another one imma buy the CF intakes those look HOT under the hood =]

The sound you will get from any intake at 3" or over will be high pitch hissing sound when you step down your gas pedal. Without an airbox, the sound will be louder. That is music to me. :.smile:

In terms of best intake, there is actually no best intake, mostly personal preference. Intakes at that pipe size are most likely give you the similar gain around 4 ~ 6 HP max. Just make sure the filter you have is a performance high flow filter.

Go with the one that most people are use on IS, then it will never be wrong.
