I see quite a few people have them, some with a k&N drop in filter so what are the advantages of having a Z-tube vs the stock setup?

Better airflow. Our intake has lots of baffles to lessen sound, and thus messes up airflow. Also sounds a tad louder without the baffles.

i Agree, Also remove the lower baffle on the stock Airbox, sounds a lot better..

Did you try that? I've been tempted to. Also, I read that the rev-up airbox has a venturi ring in it, and that's why it's a popular addition over the stock airbox.

Yes i have this done, Definatly sounds a lot better..Ive also thought about the REV-up lid but no one could confirm if it would fit.

Ya, if it wasn't in San Antonio I would consider picking it up. Good idea to register, always something useful on there.
