About Dual vs. Single Pipe Exhaust

Hello all I have 05 FX35 and so far I have Stillen Intake w/ Z-Tube, 5/16 Motordyne Spacer and Invidia Dual Cat-Back Exhaust.
The OEM Exhaust has a single pipe w/ single resonator and just dual outlets however, Invidia Gemini has dual pipes from the Cats and dual resonators as well as dual outlets.
If the Invidia Exhaust was installed alone, do you think there is a power loss?
How about with my current setup? Do you think there is a gain?
What is a real benefit of true dual setup exhausts?
I've never gotten a chance to do a dyno run so I was just wondering...
Maybe I should've gone with single setup like NISMO exhaust?
Any input is appreciated! Thanks IS

True dual will typically have less restriction than a single.

Less back pressure, you could lose a little low end torque but with more flow, you typically gain on the higher end of the RPM range.

You're fine with either exhaust, not going to make a big difference.

I'm no expert by far but I'm thinking that without going FI or extremely large diameter piping, you're not going to feel much difference. Nismo, Stillen, Invidia...should be pretty much the in the same ballpark.

with the plenum spacer, you're compensating for the low end torque loss. but to fully benefit from you modifications, you will need a proper ecu tuning. unless you go FI, the gain is you will notice will almost never be too much. consider the cost of this and that for little gains against buying a supercharger and calling it a day.
