About DTRL Light brightness

Hello all, I have 05 FX35.
I was changing out the DTRL Bulbs to LEDs and when one of the sides is unplugged and the other is plugged, one that is plugged in becomes twice as bright.
However, when both of them are plugged, the light output of both DTRLs is halved.
Does anyone know how to make the DTRLs stay bright as only one is plugged?

i changed my dtrls to led this weekend . n they went on fine . with no problem. looks great . but ive heard of that problem before . which bulbs are they ?

They are 7443 bulbs. Try disconnecting one of them and let only one be on. The one is plugged will be brighter and if the other is plugged, then the lighting output will be halved...
