It's been onto a bunch of forums I didn't really expect to see it on. No worries on any negative comments, there's always going to be some so all good.

For the Acura guys, asking about the motor.

• JWT Twin Front Mount Intercoolers

• VQ35DE DLI-II Twin Power Ignition amplifier
• EVC VI Boost Controller

Makes 507hp and 480tq with a 2.25" exhaust, have not dyno'd since adding the 2.75" exhaust.

507 Dawg, dang that is a monster. I couldn't imagine controlling my foot, although I'm sure I would. Man that would be great to drive on the Autobahn. Are you willing to do a trade for a 287hp spec FX black, named BB, lol... J/J...

That was cool, I like reading the negative comments. Makes me appreciate it more so that it was done to my tastes which some may like and others may not.

Wonder how many of those posters cars I could beat down the 1/4 mile. but that's not really fair, straight line is only one aspect.

Pauter instead of Eagle? SD instead of ED? Nismo instead of ARP? Any reason or was that just part of THEIR specific build and their preference of internals?

I have Eagle H-Beam, Arias ED 9.0:1 and ARP hardware.

The build was in April 06. The HKS gaskets weren't out yet, VRT had been using the SD stuff, I wasn't specific on the mounting hardware either.

When I changed the cams from S2s to C2s I didn't have enough time to get the HKS gaskets in there cause I'm always on a time crunch.

I did a little bit of polishing of my front timing cover... not enough though I'm gonna do a bit more polishing while it's in.

I was on a time crunch as well... to get as much polishing done as possible before I had to get the motor to the shop to drop it in.

I just recently saw some guy post up pics on his 350Z's front timing cover, not yet installed... powdercoated black with all the trim pieces chromed. It looks amazing!

I already answered some of their questions... they have mostly positive feedback for ya over there lol. Some say it's dropped too much and others say slam it as low as it'll go:wub: They also don't like your brakes:err:

One of the G35driver guys sent me a link to that last night. Funny stuff, they were actually not that brutal about negative comments.

As far as not liking the brakes, they are probably referring to the brand. Brembo, AP and Stoptech would probably have made them a little happier. But than no rear set up so they would say something about that.

Take the good with the bad with everything. I hate that saying of as long as you're happy with it, but I guess as long as I'm happy with it.

And yeah they don't like the brakes either!?!?!?
