I did a search and couldn't find anything on it. I just noticed that when I "blow the carbon" out, my brake warning light comes on during hard acceleration. Does this mean anything(besides slow down of course)? 2010 40k miles fx35 everything else works perfectly
Because your brake pads are low, when you floor it, the brake fluid indicates to your car that it's "low" thanks to gravity, check your pads, I bet they are due for replacement
Thanks, I will check it out in the AM. Haven't changed my pads in years, might have to take it to my local mechanic. Nothing going to shock me about the job is there? My local guy should be able to do it, right?

Mucho Highway miles. Drobe from VA to Oh, then a month later drove from Oh to Montana and back. Yep, I guess I dig long azz road trips I have had a few squeaks lately but nothing noticeable at all in braking "feel"
I second checking the brake fluid. My brake warning light would flash on my '03 FX35 under acceleration and after topping off the brake fluid to the level shown on the master cylinder the issue went away.
