A couple of questions about how the forum site works

Hey guys, noob here. Just got my '12 FX35 the other day. What a great vehicle!

How come I have to keep logging on every five minutes or so?
Am I doing something wrong?

Not sure about why the text is aligned centered, or should be right. Mine is all aligned left. What browser are you using?

Having to log in each time, sounds like an issue with cookies. Are you checking "remember me" when logging in?
 
Sometimes clearing your cache and cookies has helped me in the past. Also having cookies enables is neccessary I believe.
 
Well, the centered text thing fixed itself. So now I feel like a complete noob!

I'll check my cookie settings next.

Yes, if you are inactive for more than 5 minutes you will be logged out for security reasons. If you are on a private computer or on a computer that you trust you can log on with "remember me" checked, this will keep you logged on indefinitely or until you clear your cookies.
 
Got it all straightened out. Text is as it should be and now I can stay logged on for more than 5 min.
From noob to expert in only 3 posts! :wink:
