Picked up my 09 FX35 monday but since I still have my 05 and some miles left I was driving it to work all week. Today I went for a drive in 09 and when I turned the a/c on air coming out of the vents seemed kinda warm to me so I looked under the hood and it looks like clutch on the a/c compressor doesn't engage. You also can't hear that click when a/c is turned on (that's why I looked at the compressor). I didn't check if there is freon in the system because it got dark outside but it really doesn't matter because a/c on my brand new car with 80 miles on it doesn't work. I'm so pissed of right now it's not even funny. I just looked at the mechanics checklist and a/c worked when he tested it...I didn't check it because when I picked up the car it was cold outside plus I would never think that a/c on brand new car will not work. One other thing I noticed engine bay wasn't the cleanest when I looked under the hood I don't know if that has anything to do with this tho.
Moral of the story is check EVERYTHING, don't get caught up in playing with navi and other toys and forget about basic stuff like a/c like I did. Now I have have to waste my time to get this problem fixed plus I'm so pissed I don't want this car anymore lol not to mention my weekend is f**ked up
