55 WATT HID fog lamps

Hey guys, I'm about to install 55 WATT HID fog lamps in my 2nd gen FX.
Do you think the higher wattage could cause a problem considering the factory bulbs are 35 watts?
 
Not sure on the second gen, but on the first gen 55W can sauce the housing to melt since it pumps out so much more heat than the 35W bulbs.

What's a good reliable HID kit out there?
 
Agree with 35w route as well.
FYI, I went with the lower price point kit and it had burnt out my IPDM (Intelligence Power Distribution Module) in less than a month. That was my experience though other had no issue...maybe i was the unlucky one.
 
Thanks to your tips, I bought the 35 WATT HID kit from Morimoto.
The lights are high quality and super bright but after using them for three months, one of them failed. After troubleshooting it, we found that one the ballasts caused the fog lamps fuse to blow. I had to replace the fuse which is located behind the battery which is a BIG PIA to get to.
The retrofit source support guys are telling me that they will ship a free replacement shortly...
