Hey fellow Infiniti owners,
I have owned 4 Infiniti's over the last 20 years and am a big fan. Currently driving a 2015 Q70L AWD. It's been a great car and I have almost 180,000 trouble free miles on it.
While pulling out the other day, my transmission clunked a few times and then went into limp mode. A few minutes later the engine light came on. I am currently getting OBD codes of P0500 and PO720. I cleaned the speed sensor in the right front wheel well and no luck. Dealer tells me he got a P0550 and I need a new transmission control valve assembly that they would be happy to install for $3,700!
Infiniti sells them for $1,400. Trying to figure out how to get it running without breaking the bank. Considering changing speed and abs cable first.
