Hi guys - i was wonder if the 370z y pipe fit our QX70? I was looking at the Begula or ISR y pipes to dress up the under carriage of my car.

Yes they will fit
ISR is probably better quality than the Beluga one though
I had a Megan racing one that rotted off in a year

Thanks for the reply Jefferson…i m ordering the ISR y pipe

Was there any changes in the exhaust tone when switching out the stock ypipe to an aftermarket?

It did change the tone a bit, nothing anyone else would notice but I could tell lol

ISR y-pipe is coming off, it made my exhaust too raspy and it felt like i lost a bit if low end torque. The stock ypipe has a better tone and the car felt more responsive.

I had the same issue with ISR it's because it's a big thin piece of metal that just reverberates. I'd recommend getting the Z1 premium y-pipe with resonator. I have ISR headers, high flow cats, the Z1 Y-pipe then stock mid-pipe and muffler. No rasp, no drone, and quiet until you get on it. If you want it louder, then do a muffler delete as well. Do NOT removed the factory resonators as they do a great job of cleaning up the sound. My 2 cents!

Oh and I'd also recommend a Mishimoto 3" to 2.5" flange converter for where the Z1 Y-pipe meets the OEM mid-pipe as the flanges don't mate up correctly and you'll get an exhaust leak. ; )

I have a 1320 performance Y pipe on mine
it was claimed to use better stainless steel than other brands but it looks pretty rusty on the car (Canada)
its outlasted my megan pipe though, that rusted through the flex part in the 1st winter
