300hp FX?

Someone recently put up an 05 FX35 for sale and he says this FX has 300hp (Originally 280hp) and his FX is limited edition. :eek.: (He states that his is one of 5% FX35's that is produced out of all the FX35's sold). Does this even make sense to anyone? Never heard of anything like this before.

I know it's in Korean but basically he says it's an 05 FX35 with sports package W/O Tech Package and it has 300hp 'LIMITED EDITION' :eek:
 
He's full of it. It's pretty easy to find detailed information on the production runs and model details for the 2005 FX if you search around. There was never a special edition of the FX produced in 2005 so he either has no idea what he's talking about or he's making stuff up to try and sell his FX.

That's the kind of thing I would need to see a factory window sticker or a VIN search to believe because there is no evidence anywhere to back up his claim.

Really? I have been looking for 2004 production records to know how many of each color were produced. I can't find production numbers anywhere - except for total US Sales. If you know where to look for stuff like this - would you post a link? Has not been easy at all...

I was referring more to engine configurations and specs for each year. If there was a special edition with 300HP it would be listed somewhere. Info on The Millionaire Edition and Limited Edition of the new FX are already all over the web so it seems strange that there wouldn't be a single piece of info on a 2004 Special Edition.

As for actual production numbers for each color, I haven't tried looking any of that up but I'll dig around and see what I can find.
 
Started this thread from gathering a info from a couple different places - not sure how accurate or complete it really is, but they don't show special editions along with the standard production cars...

Would absolutely LOVE to know how many Laser Red FXs were produced in 2003 & 2004.
