It's basic math, 275/45 is less than 1% difference than 265/45. So at 70mph, it would be less than 1 mph off. Worn tires would make a bigger difference.
And the person posting about the 1st gen has nothing to do with this situation. Going from 265/50/20 to 275/45/20 actually drops the sidewall height so yes there will be a difference in speedometer. That's not what the OP wants to do. And even going to 275/45/20 won't make your speedo 5mph off. It's 2.3% different or so which means at 70 mph, you'd be 1.5 mph off. Speedometers are not that accurate so it may read 5mph off without tire size changes.
I'm running 275/40/20 on my 1st gen. That is 5.8% smaller so yes at 80 mph, I'm 5 mph off. But this is an extreme difference and I doubt anyone else would run tires this size.
