2015 QX70 Wood Trim?

Car
2015 QX70 RWD 3.7L V6
Name
Jon
So, a couple months ago, I purchased a CPO 2015 QX70 Base w/Premium Pkg, but not Deluxe Touring Pkg, which would have provided interior maple wood trim. I like the wood trim, but don't really care for the available after-market trim kits out there; is it possible to purchase the OEM maple wood trim parts? I can't seem to find them online via e-bay, or other sellers. Also can't seem to get the OEM part number either.

May someone out there has swapped out their maple trim parts for something else (I know many like darker parts, but I'm more particial to the luxurous look). Thoughts? Suggestions?

Willing to consider swapping my black/dark grey (?) trim.

Yup - I don't have the Sport edition (frankly, didn't realize I'd have to have the Sport edition to get the wood tdrim - or I would have searched more; I would have gone with the Sport edition had I realized the significance; but, alas. So, yeah - I like the wood trim, but would rather have the OEM pieces than wrapping with the wood-tone vinyl wrap. I'm wanting to do the trim pieces seen in the photo attached; I've got the wheat interior, so I think this look is classy/luxurious. I'm older now (lol - 58), and want my interior to look more rich and luxurious - but drive like an FX/QX because I still love the handling. I'm not into the hard lines, starkness of having all-chrome, carbonfiber wrap, red interior lights, etc. I like the wood.

I used my model : 2009 fx50s and these are the ones your looking for. Swapping this trim is very easy and DIY. These are all the part numbers for the front and rear maple trim also the silver line trim for the 2 front doors. I didnt find the silver line for the rear doors i think since the rear trim is smaller that its one peice but i maybe wrong. If you have any other questions or you need the links to trim posted below please feel free to let me know.

Here are the look up codes for the silver trim for the rear left and right door. 82922N and 82923N
I was unable to find the prices but i would recommend checking "Bonita springs infiniti parts" they had prices but i dont remember. Should be around the 90$-100$ just like the front silver line trim.

There is another way but its quite silly. It is cheaper but silly. :rolleyes:Cuz i dont wanna get your hopes down with the prices on the dealers website....but your not gonna believe me if i dont show you this. Its quite funny  you get not just the trim but the whole F***ing door assembly. They only have the rear left side door panel and front left side door panel. Maybe you wont have to dream that long. 2 doors down 2 doors to go.:sneaky: I wanted to do this with my trim to swap it from the maple wood to the black leather interior trim to fully black out the interior.[i havent done it yet cuz im waiting for all the maple trim to start peeling then ill swap it all out.] But id rather pay like 150 for the whole door panel with trim instead of 300$ to 400$ on the dealers website. :rofl:Believe me yet?! LOL:p

Why would anyone spend all that money when you can just vinyl wrap the trim? It's so easy to do!!!

I've never wrapped anything before, so was thinking wrapping with wood-tone might look cheap; if not, I'd seriously consider doing so. If I wrap, can it beremoved without causing damage to the plastic/metal pieces, PEEj?

LOL - that is pretty radical, but not as silly as one might think when you consider OEM parts & price. I've been searching some salvage/parts places, but I think my vehicle is still too new to find them full part-outs.

I never wrapped anything before I wrapped my interior. All you need is a heat gun, squeegee and a razor -it’s really that simple. There are HUNDREDS of vinyl tutorial videos out there that explain the application/removal process in great detail.

It won’t damage anything unless you somehow manage to cut the surface with your razor.
