Hello all you knowledgeable people! I just got something in the mail for a 13,000 mile service for my wife's FX. Is this an actual thing? Have any of you actually performed this maintenance? Just wanted to touch base with you guys before scheduling anything. Thanks in advance.

I get random crap like that a lot. They always have to guess at the mileage, and I know last one I got was behind. I usually check the maintenance schedule online to see what actually needs to be done for that mileage. Sometimes it's just oil/filter change.
I actually don't see a 13k in there haha. 11250 and 15k are the two closest.

My dealer charges $399 for the 15,000 service. What a ripoff! I know, it's dealer service so I shouldn't be surprised but my first service was done by the dealer and I was impressed. Of course that service was negotiated into my purchase price.
Hard to to justify when it's just oil change, tire rotation, and cabin filter change. I can get that done by my local service shop for $75.
