2011 FX35 18inch Rims on 2006 FX35?

I'm looking for a set of summer rims and tires for my fx35. At first I was leaning towards 20inch, or even R35 rims, but haven't found any good deals. I found a local set of brand new 2011 18inch with all season for sale. The owner is waiting for delivery date of his vehicle, but has already offered to sell his rims at an asking of 1950 cdn. Will this fit? and do you guys think its a good deal?

If you think they are ugly, then don't impulse buy them, lol. You most likely regret it later. Save up and get the style you really want. :wink (2):
 
$1950 for new OEM 18" wheels with tires seems about average to me. I still don't think they are worth getting anyways. Keep an eye out for 20"s at least. Being in Canada doesn't help your shipping situation either, there are great deals for 20"s on eBay all time.
 
I use my 2nd Gen 18s for winter rims with Blizzaks and have a set of 20s for summer.
If you are using your stock rims for winter use, why not buy some nice 20s and tires for summer, rather than spend almost $2000 on those rims and tires. I got my 20s in Mississauga at Tires 23, here is a link http://www.tires23.com/

IMO - Hold out for 20's you like. Investing in 18's (unless you intend to keep them for a snow set) is an interim move. If you put quality rubber on a 20 you can have both comfort and performance. 18's will never give you style based on the visual mass of the FX.
 
I was selling my 18 inch stocker for 400$. I didnt know any1 would pay 4 figure for them ugly wheels!!! Lol.

Anyways if your have you mind set on some r35 rims you really should hold out. My whole r35 setup cost about 2000$ for rims + $800 for tires. Suck being in Canada but deals can be have you just have to be patient.
