2011 FX Vinyl

Hello all, can someone please tell me what brand of vinyl Infinti/Nissan uses? I bought a 2011 FX35 and the previous owner must have had a car seat in there because it has ripped the vinyl. Below is the area circled in red that is torn. Thank you and I apologize if this has been covered. I searched and found nothing.

Each automaker uses a unique vinyl/leather. Your best bet is to find a good car upholstery shop and repair your seat professionally.

I appreciate the quick response. I went ahead and did that and was quoted $300. I thought that was a little high for 2 little pieces. I consider myself pretty handy and would have no problem doing these panels, IF I found the right vinyl.

You can probably find a supply shop that caters to upholstery shops and take your car there. They'll have a sample of everything and you can simply find one that matches. I did that a few times when I wanted stuff custom matched. I would buy the material and take it to my guy.

Or just ask if you can buy the material from the shop you got the quote from, they might sell it to you.

I know there are kits that you can purchase basically mixing 2 compounds which will act like a glue ensuring the tear does not expand...for best results I would leave it to a professional and you will hardly notice it
I have no clue why people do NOT invest by purchasing a $30 soft vinyl seat protective mat placed under the seat
