Hey guys I want to louden my exhaust a bit but still keep the tone deep. I listened to ark exhaust and Invidia and think they sound to high. Anyone have any input or videos on how it would sound with a muffler delete?

I always thought the Invidia was deeper tone than the OEM exhaust. But maybe it's different on the 1st gen. Honestly, having heard G37's and 370's with muffler deletes, I think it sounds horrible. There's rasp and it sounds like a Honda at higher RPMs so the tone isn't deeper. That's just my opinion though.

Yeah my buddy had his g37 with a muffler delete and a lot of people said it sounded terrible. I might just go with the Invidia

or you could just get one custom made with some mufflers and tips you like, after all it's just piping and some flanges.

I went with the muffler delete and it sounds great past 3000rpm. My many people told me it sounds like a race car. Checkout videos on youtube to get an idea what the sound is like. i love downshifting with the paddle shifter and the sound is more like a muscle car. its honestly not that loud unless you step on it. The downside is that you dont get great sound below 3k rpms, it sounds more like a v8 truck exhaust and you do get drone between 22k to 3k rpm. if you drive mostly on the highway you wont have to worry about drone, i cant even tell that i have a muffler delete unless i punch it. on the street though is a different story.

I recommend, doing a exhaust cutout valves and keeping the original muffler intact.
