Its funny. After researching the best replacement tire for my vehicle, instead of ordering the standard OEM Bridgestone Potenza, I decided to go with the Bridgestone Dueller Alenza for my 2008 FX 35. I decided to go with this tire due to the warranty and quality ride but after 24 hours of looking at the profile of this tire on my vehicle I want to return them! The look of my FX has completely changed and I am willing to give up ride quality to get back my sportier look. I am on an 18 inch wheel so I don't have the luxury of all the options available for the 20 inch wheel. Could any of you FX'rs recommend a good replacement tire to replace the Potenza that is V rated and looks like a high performance tire? I really dont want a tire that I need to replace in 20k miles and I dont want to spend what the Potenza actually costs! Thank you!

Thank you for these links, yes, I have seen these, there are so many conflicting views on the quality of tires in general it makes my head spin.

Here is my short list of tires but haven't a clue which one to go with:

Falken Ziex ZE-612
Yokohama YK580
Nitto NT 4210
Hankook Ventus ST RH06
Hankook Ventus ST RH07
Kumho Exsta STX

Are you closer to a decision?

I have RH06 and very glad with performance and ride comfort.

When I had 18s on , I went with the Hankook RH06 and I was very happy with them. The ride was smooth and the tires were not loud at all. Being from Cali so it doesn't rain much here but when it did, the tires had a good grip and did not slip at all. Hope that helps....
