2008 FX35 door lock Actuator problem

can anyone help me fix my FX35 automatic(remote control) lock does not work. Dealer tells me it is the Actuator. How can all 4 actuator go out at once. It is hard to believe that all of them stop working simultaneously:eek.:. They want over $2000.00 to replace them! Thank you, Hoss

Can you describe the issue? Is it when you use the actual key fob button? Or when you hit the button on the door handle?

I remember something like that happened to my fx before. Have you manually checked if the locks are working opposed to key fob remote? It might just be out of code or bad battery.. If problem still persists, check fuses.. If nothing os wrong with the fuses, then an actuator might have gone bad. Our cars are known to burn out actuators, if its all 4 i wont be surprised.

Hoss they don't work with the fob or the switch?When you hit the switch does it try to lock or unlock but just quit don't move enough to do it.Do you hear it click when you do it?
