2006 why do some have red tails and some have clear?

I tried to search but i can't seem to find anything that explains why some of the 06 FXs have clear tails and others have the red tails.

I like the clear tails....were they a part of some sort of package?

clear tails is part of the 'sports package' (silver roof rails, dark chrome grill/ headlights)
