License Bulb = 194 (x2)
Reverse Bulb = 921 (x2)
1. Remove the trunk lid inner trim. The two circled retainers are something new to me, I have never seen these before. I eventually found out that you have to unscrew them counter clockwise until they are loose and then you can pop them out. The rest of the push retainers are your normal kind that you can remove with a flathead screwdriver.
Pop off the emergency trunk opener handle.
2. Then, carefully remove the plastic inner trim.
3. For your reverse lights, just remove the plugs counter clockwise. Swap the bulbs and put the plugs back clockwise.
4. For the license plate bulbs in the center of the trunk lid you will see two smaller bulb plugs. Remove these counter clockwise replace your bulbs and place the plugs back clockwise.
5. That's it, put everything back together and for those two weird retainers which we talked about in step 1, just place them back and tighten them clockwise slightly until they are on sturdy without over-tightening them.
