-I PLAN ON DOING THIS EVERY 10,000 MILES DUE TO THE EASE OF THE PROCEDURE.

Drove the car around town all day today after the drain and fill, I definitely noticed a difference in how smooth the car accelerates and shifts.

I think I need to drain and fill mine too. It shift a little rough when I take it for a little spirited run.

I am probably going to do this again in the next 100-200 miles, just to get more of the old fluid out.

Did another drain and fill:

Old Fluid: (After 39,000 miles)

After 1st drain and fill: (about 100 miles since 1st drain and fill)

I am going to extract some fluid from the fill spout after about 100 miles to compare after the 2nd drain and fill.

Excellent write-up my good man. I called the dealer to see how much a fluid flush would be and I was quoted $145. This may be a much better and more cost effective way of flushing the system. As a tech, I really can say that flushing is the best service for the trans, but if you continue to drain and fill, it would flush out most of the debris and contaminants anyways. Good job!
